The second consecutive ESG Adria Summit began in Tivat, under the slogan “Act now for a sustainable tomorrow”. The event is organized by Sustineri Partners and Porto Montenegro, and in partnership with the President of Montenegro and the Government of Montenegro. It is a regional event dedicated to the topics of green transition. , sustainable development and responsible corporate management. At the very beginning, Biljana Braithwaite, director of Sustineri Partners and founder of ESG Summit, emphasized that renewable energy sources and sustainable finance and the implementation of ESG standards in all segments of society are the driving force. Jakov Milatović, the President of Montenegro, Željko Komnenović, the President of the Municipality of Tivat and David Margason, the Executive Director of Porto Montengra, also addressed those present. Gore and Nataša Pirs Musar, the president of Slovenia, Federika Mogherini, former EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security, also addressed the audience, where she spoke about the European future of the Western Balkans region.
On the first day, the event will include a total of eight panel discussions, and the event gathered more than 600 participants.
The event will run until Friday, April 26.
