“Food Talk” Conference at the Podgorica City Museum

This year’s “Food Talk” conference will be held on Monday, November 10th at the Podgorica City Museum under the auspices of the Secretariat for Entrepreneurship and Investment of the Capital City of Podgorica.

In 2013, at Salaš 137 in Čenej near Novi Sad, a regional conference dedicated to gastronomy, wine and beer was held for the first time, bringing together several hundred participants, speakers and exhibitors. Since then, the conference has been held in addition to Novi Sad in a large number of cities in the region: Belgrade, Skopje, Budva and finally this fall – on November 10th, “Food Talk” will be held in Podgorica for the first time.

The conference is organized by the culinary team of Color Press Group, the largest magazine publisher in the Southeast European region, together with the event agency Color Media Communications. “Food Talk” is a brand that brings together the region’s most famous names from the world of gastronomy, embassies, hotels, restaurants, wineries, agricultural farms, as well as companies involved in food production and processing.

The Agenda includes six panels, and participants will have the opportunity to taste a large number of local specialties and wines:

Panel No. 1Taste of Planet: Ambassadors of foreign countries about their national dishes and Montenegrin specialties, the reception of which they will take with them when they leave Pogorica.

Panel No. 2How to get more Dušan Đorđević: Motivation challenges in the region’s HoReCa industry

Dušan Đorđević, a young waiter at the Niš hotel “Nais”, recently delighted the region with his spontaneous and smiling “performance”, which was recorded by one of the influencers and made him famous. How we got to the point where something that should be “normal” – becomes an “exception”. How managers in the region’s HoReCa industry manage to create and preserve people like Dušan Đorđević – at receptions, in kitchens, with trays in their hands…
