The renowned Istrian winery Meneghetti, a true synonym for luxury, hedonism, and exceptional wine culture, has unveiled the new vintages of its two signature wines – Meneghetti White 2023 and Meneghetti Red 2020 – and announced the appointment of music diva Nina Badrić as its new brand ambassador.
The exclusive presentation took place in the enchanting surroundings of the Garden Pavilion at Stancija Meneghetti, where numerous guests from the worlds of wine, gastronomy, art, and lifestyle had the opportunity to taste, for the very first time, the new vintages of these iconic wines which, for decades, have been building a bridge between the authenticity of the Istrian terroir and a sophisticated international palate.
New Vintages – A Continuation of Excellence
Meneghetti White 2023
A blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc that embodies freshness, minerality, and elegantly balanced aromas. The wine is highly complex on the nose, with pronounced notes of pineapple, citrus, and melon, complemented by subtle hints of butter, roasted hazelnuts, and delicate oak and vanilla in the background. Rich and concentrated on the palate, with a creamy texture, it reveals remarkable depth. Thanks to its complexity, it is recommended as a pairing for fish and shellfish dishes, white meats, veal, and mature cheeses.
Meneghetti Red 2020
A powerful, layered red wine full of character and depth, embodying the essence of the Istrian land and its winemaking tradition. This blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc displays a deep ruby-red colour. Full-bodied, dense in texture, mature, and well-balanced, it pairs beautifully with red meat and game dishes, as well as with hard, aged cheeses. It possesses outstanding ageing potential.
