The event was officially opened by the First Lady, Milena Milatović and IWC President Jana Cvijić, whose presence highlighted the importance of solidarity, compassion, and community engagement. Their opening remarks set the tone for a day dedicated to giving back and supporting those most in need.

This year’s Bazaar featured 37 participants, of which 29 were embassies and consulates accredited in Montenegro, showcasing a rich diversity of cultures, traditions, and cuisines. Visitors had the opportunity to experience flavors, crafts, and customs from around the world, while contributing to a meaningful cause.

The Diplomatic Bazaar was a resounding success, both in attendance and in impact. Funds collected at the event will be directed toward several vital initiatives, including two schools in Petrovac and Gusinje, the Clinical Center of Montenegro in Podgorica, and the Nephrology Department of the Children’s Hospital. Additional support will be provided to non-governmental organizations caring for abandoned animals, as well as to a joint program implemented in cooperation with UNICEF, reinforcing long-term support for children and vulnerable communities.

The Diplomatic Bazaar continues to stand as a powerful reminder that when cultures unite for a common purpose, meaningful change is possible. Through cooperation, empathy, and shared commitment, the International Women’s Club remains devoted to building a better future for communities across Montenegro.
