One of Europe’s most influential investors in the luxury tourism and maritime sectors, Italian tycoon and billionaire Manfredi Lefèvre d’Ovidio, has been confirmed as one of the keynote speakers at the upcoming Adria Future Summit, which will take place from 22 to 24 April in Tivat, Porto Montenegro.
This prestigious gathering is being organised for the fourth year in a row by Sustineri Partners in partnership with the Government of Montenegro and represents a new development phase of the previously successful three-year ESG Adria Summit. Over the year, it has grown into a leading regional investment platform, bringing together decision-makers, investors and leaders from Europe and the world.
Lefevre d’Ovidio is the chairman and owner of Heritage Group, a global investment firm based in Monaco. His journey to the top of the world’s travel industry began with Silversea Cruises, a luxury cruise line founded by his family in 1994. As chairman, he transformed it into one of the most recognizable brands in the ultra-luxury cruise segment, before the company was sold to global leader Royal Caribbean Group in a transaction worth over $1 billion. Today, he is the executive chairman of Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group, one of the oldest and most prestigious names in luxury tourism, and owner of Crystal Cruises, whose ships recently underwent a complete renovation at the Fincantieri shipyard in Trieste.
In addition to tourism, Heritage Group is actively investing in renewable energy, biotechnology and digital technologies. Lefevre d’Ovidio is the President of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), a member of the World Economic Forum, and a holder of the Order of Saint Charlemagne and Grimaldi, awarded to him by Prince Albert II of Monaco. Forbes estimates his fortune at $2.3 billion.
